Trust the local lady then, since she's familiar with what works in your climate. I've never hatched turkeys so I'll turn you over to @Molpet . @ShannonR do you have any suggestions?

I think it's time to carefully take a look and see. It is either shrink wrapped, or still absorbing the yolk. I've found turkeys to be more frail during assisted hatches, I always lost almost all the ones I helped, so try not to intervene besides trying to help the shrink wrapping situation (coconut oil?) Unless it's really absolutely necessary.
