I have eggs from Longranger they were all kicking so lets hope that Thursday or Friday I'll have some more poults I just hate the waiting game...must be because I hand turn them and now there is nothing to do but wait

I sure hope those kickers become peepers. All but 1 out of 20 in my last lockdown made it. Had to help the last 4 but still my best result with poults in lockdown yet. My hatching fingers are crossed for you.

mine are hatching on friday too i hope

I think we have about 3 or 4 turkey hatches left to go for this year and i'm glad. We are growing out a new batch of breeders for the Migets and Beltsvilles this year so we are going to be knee deep in them until fall deciding who stays and who goes. One of our Sportsmans will be turned off this week, that will save a couple bucks off the electric bill. I guess the other one will keep going until the peafowl stop laying.

I put 20 eggs from the same hens into lockdown this morning. Hope to see pips and compare notes in a couple of days. One more hatch after that and then it is bators off for a while. OOps forgot have broodies on eggs due in 3 weeks. Good thing I love turkey:lol:

The first one to pip was a Midget White but the first one out was an Auburn I now have several pipped and 2 zipping so I guess it's like popcorn....they sure made we wait although they really aren't due until tomorrow

so far 2 out and one almost and another one that is going to try and come out the bottom for some reason it didn't turn...has a hole so we'll see what happens and some more pipped no chickens yet they should start today too. I think I'm going to go riding so I don't just stare at the incubator.
