I have a 7 month old tom that was badly injured (other toms ganged up on him and attacked his head/neck) and is being kept in a 4x8 chicken coop while he heals up/until the other toms are sent to butcher this upcoming weekend.
Any suggestions on what I can do to help prevent him from getting too bored? Poor guy doesn’t even have a view right now - it’s been really cold here so I had to wrap most of the coop in plastic sheeting to keep him warm enough.
I spent lots of time with him this weekend, but I work during the week so he’ll be alone most of the week.
