I'm trying to decide if this poult is male or female. We originally thought male, but isn't growing as quickly as the others had. It doesn't strut and the stood is generally small. It hasn't made any sounds other than the "whip" noise. Hoping for a female to put with a tom.

If it is 6 months old, it is a hen.

1. Thin legs - hen
2. Light colored lower edges on the breast feathers - hen
3. "Mohawk" of feathers up the back of the neck and on top of the head - hen
4. Small caruncles - hen
5. Small snood - hen

Thank you! That's what I thought, but it's not as easy as chickens
