TURKEY HATCH-A-LONG 2016

There is one little burbon red x royal palm on my daughter's lap named Jello. And now I have 2 broody hens on one nest. I think there is a dozen eggs under them. I plan on candling them soon, it has been a week at least. The hens are one royal palm and one burbon red with a burbon red Tom.

I have a broody sweetgrass turkey. he hatched only 3 poults March, I gave them to a mother hen, than she hatched some chcken eggs out that she stole. Hatch 10 or 12 chicks. She was a great mother to the chickies.
Well than she started laying eggs again. went to setting on May 19th or so. It is so cute the chicks still cuddle around her at night. She was off last night she has 10 eggs.....So it will be awhile.....

Here are the broody hens. Dad is burbon red. I am hatching eggs inside too, have one cross so far. Someone said that it will grow up to be a red bronze.

Bantambird a bourbon red x royal palm would probably look like a red bronze but might be off colored

deer was eating bird food. Probably because there is corn in it.
