turkey hatching question ( help)

has any one ever tried buying hatching turkey eggs online and letting your very broody turkey hen hatch them. could it work ? i have no tom and no hatching equipment . but i have a hen that is very broody any help would be great

I don't see why not. My broody turkey hen was very good at setting on hers, they just aren't the best at taking care of the babies though in my experience. I take them away from mom after hatched.

My hen did an EXCELLENT job raising her babies. If you do try buying eggs to put under her, let the eggs sit at least 12 hours after you get them to let them settle.

Where are you located I could have some eggs over the next week or so I have two laying hens, if I can find the eggs. They are bourbon Reds.
