Turkey hen is laying on eggs in a weird place....what do I do?

My little Alice is a royal palm and yesterday I noticed 2 eggs up high on one of the boards in the barn where they roost, I went to go over to get them and she flew up and later on them, can I move her and the eggs to a different location? Or will she not sit on them if I move them?

You could try to move them. Just make sure you show her where the eggs are. If she continues to lay eggs up there, keep moving them and her until she understands.

I have used stone eggs to control where I want the birds to lay.
Place a couple in your nest and then they start to add their own.

I'll have to remember that for next time. She stopped laying on them already, only after a few days...I placed the eggs in the incubator so hopefully they hatch.
