Turkey/naked neck help

I just got this cute fellow today. When we got home I noticed this bulgy spot on his neck. It’s soft and kinda squishy. I’ve never heard of naked necks until today. Is this normal or is something wrong?

Oh good. I wasn’t sure if there was some odd growth or something there. My other NN doesn’t have that. Is that more prominent in one sex than the other?

Probably crop but are you sure that’s not a showgirl? It’s a mix of silkie and naked necks very cute chickens
