One of my turkey poults from my latest batch died today because she got trampled by the others, and couldn't breathe. Is there a way to prevent this from happening again? They are all either 5 or 6 days old.

Make sure they have lots of room and the right amount of heat. This usually happens when they are too cold and everyone squeezes together for warmth. Inevitably one is at the bottom of the pile and gets suffocated.

This is what I've been keeping them in, so they have plenty of room. It is also 90 degrees outside right now and over 100 degrees in the shed that they're kept in.

Also, this batch of turkeys have had a bad habit of laying down to sleep right on the side of the container which is where the others like to run. They also like to try and jump out, and when they do this they tend to group up with each other.
