She ate wet food off of our fingers for two days, some wet food from the bowl. Was eating well. Also sought out and drank water on her own from the water dish in the brooder. This morning, she would not eat again. I'm thinking it was cool in the room and she just wanted to be under the heat plate. Hopefully that is all. Going home at lunch to try again.
We had to cull the other poult last night. When I fully assessed the leg issue, it had a complete dislocation/deformity high up, not a slipped tendon. That poult never moved around normally with the first one, but I'm wondering it she knows it's gone and is missing it?? I am not sure. She is in a small brooder with four chicks who are about a week old.
