I picked up 4 little midget white turkey poults last night, and at least one of them is singing--actual, sweet-toned multi-note singing, like a songbird. Do they always do that? I love the sound . . . what a delightful surprise.

My turkey poults made wonderful music all the time. They have very pretty voices and have a lot of different calls.

I love the purring sound they make as well :D

Oh absolutely. They sing when they are content.

I love it! Will they continue to sing as they grow up, or only as poults?

only as poults. When they get older they still make pretty sounds but singing and chirping is for babies

Thanks so much. I'm so excited to have these guys. I hope at least 1 or 2 turn out to be hens.
