Turkey poult singing

I picked up 4 little midget white turkey poults last night, and at least one of them is singing--actual, sweet-toned multi-note singing, like a songbird. Do they always do that? I love the sound . . . what a delightful surprise.

My turkey poults made wonderful music all the time. They have very pretty voices and have a lot of different calls.

I love the purring sound they make as well

Oh absolutely. They sing when they are content.

They sing less when they are grown, but they make other neat sounds Like the purring.

Make sure to hold them a lot at this age. They become SO friendly and attached

The only annoying sound I found they made as poults was when they couldn't find one another. It was LOUD.

Even their warning call is pretty!
