Hi everyone! I am new to the chicken/turkey raising game and need a little advice. I have a 2 month old turkey who had a leg that has always looked a little bad and given him a slight limp. But it seemed fine up until 3 days ago. Out of nowhere the leg turned completely backwards and he can barely walk now. He spins in circles and falls over trying to walk anywhere or just simply has to lay down. At this point, he is still able to make his way over to food and water but I don't think he will be able to do this much longer. His quality of life is not good. Our goal of raising turkeys is to harvest them eventually, I just know he is really young. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix the leg? Or has anyone ever harvested a turkey so young? Is it possible to get decent meat yet? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
