Turkey poults and attitude

In my silkie chicks ive raised for 17 years i could tell males from females early on because the boys were - more vocal- and stayed closer to mom, where as the females were quieter and right of the bat were taking off exploring!

Is this the same with turkey poults. Sweetgrass poults. Hatched a few days ago and im seeing the behavior i just posted.

In my experiences the boys are bolder, and more vocal when very young, and often larger than the girls by a bit. It can take up to 3-4 months before you know for sure with turkeys.
