Now that I'm not so freaked out, I looked closer at it. The spare foot is growing out of his knee. His thigh is twice the size of the other one and feels like there is actually 2 bones in there. I don't have much hope for him, his leg doesn't fully extend all the way out because of the messed up knee

I have a duck that couldn't stand the foot, leg curled. She gets along fine now, just a bit of a hobble, It took 2 weeks for it to stand, but everything is ok now.

I dunno...with 2 bones both growing out of his knee, it seems almost impossible that he
would ever be able to stand up on his own. Also, my son noticed that the wing on his gimpy side is twice as long. I'll see how he does over night and make a decision in the morning.
