I got a saline solution I home made that I will flush it out with. I got to find me a sack I can stick her in cause she will not like this and will flap and move to much.

Ok so I the surgery on her... I had to go ahead and try it out... I found some photos on the BYC group and I just hoped I did it right...
I am guessing there is ALOT OF BLOOD... Cause there was and it scared me. I thought I did something wrong. I had to toss one puppy pad and put another down..... I didn't get one large clump of puss like some people got out in there posts. IT was more just mush puss :\... BUT I squeeze and pushed and tried to get what I could out... I dug a little in there to but I was trying to be careful... I did flush out some some home made saline solution... He face did go down some but I don't know what to do about her eye area. Its swollen but I do not think its puss...
IS there something I can put in her eye to lube it or something??
also How do you know if you got it all out?...

Do you think that you got close enough to the pus? I would recommend using Terramycin eye ointment or plain Neosporin triple antibiotic ointment twice a day. Hopefully, @casportpony can advise on the wound.

K, I got some Plain Neo and put on the eye.
I did goop out a good bit of the yellow/white puss. I tried digging in there some more but I felt like I was going to hurt her, she kept moving when I well poked something I guess in there... I didn't want to push in there to hard ya know... I REALLY hope tho I got it all or mostly all... I even put my finger in her mouth and pushed twords me to get it to come out of the hole.

I'll try to keep updated on here. Hopeing she gets better. There is a vet in a few towns over I might be calling if she dos not show some signs of healing.

SO I wanted to update. SO few days after I fixed her up her eye looked better. It was open and way less swollen.

I went on a trip and was gone for little over a week *family stuff*... SOOOO When I got back her eye was swollen again, but it was like in her eye. I had someone watching my birds and they did tell me she was getting puffy again.. But I had no way to go home right than. When I got back, I looked her over, she was eatting and drinking but it was very swollen again, but no sneezing or caughing or ooze out the nose.
I brought her back in the house and thought I was going to have to cut open again but I was just able to pull it out the eye area. It smelled! and was a big white ball. After pulling it out that skin area went flat. I cleaned out her eye and put Neo in it. I put her back on antibiotics again. I'll post a before and after pic.

The after pic i had all ready put Neo in the eye.... I Forgot to take a pic before I did that.
