Turkeys get this, which I know nothing about:Any possibility it can spread to the other birds? If so I would need to be extremely careful because I have around 80 other birds to keep healthy and he's living in close quarters with another turkey and nine hens and a rooster.
Okay. I don't know of a vet in our area that would do turkeys. What kind of antibiotic should I use?Turkeys get this, which I know nothing about:

They can also get other bacterial and viral respiratory infections. If mine I would quarantine and start on an antibiotic. Is a vet an option?
Would it help any to lance it and let it drain? Clean it out maybe?Turkeys get this, which I know nothing about:

Yours appears to be a sinus infection which needs treated.I have a 5 month old Blue Slate with a swollen face too. He is acting fine, eating and drinking. But noticed few days ago his face was all swollen. Other 2 turkeys are fine, they all run around together. Reading posts it could be infection or air sac issue. What are your thoughts? Do not want to start tylan treatment if this is not what his issue is. Pics attached. It is on both sides of his face.

I can't see enough of your turkey to be sure, but it is not a Blue Slate. I can't tell from the pics whether it is a Tri-color Mottled Slate
We just got them from hatchery this year and they are Blue Slates. Neighbor has blue slates as well and our boys look just like his. Both our boys look just like our Tom we had last year tooYours appears to be a sinus infection which needs treated.

I do have tylan 50 inject. I know 200 would be better but store was out of that dosage. I know he needs 4ml a day and I know that is to much to give at one time for injection. Is 2ml twice a day sufficient or is 2ml still to much to do at one time? I have to get his weight to verify but I would say he has to be at least15-18 lbs. He is not light to pick up that is for sureYours appears to be a sinus infection which needs treated.

Show a full photo. The images you have shown look like there are some white feathers which Blue Slates do not have but Mottled turkeys do have.We just got them from hatchery this year and they are Blue Slates.
