Here is a pic of them just after I moved them to the brooder this morning.

Take notice of the Black Spanish mutt which hatched a couple of days ago.

everyone is hatching but me! booo hoooo hoooo!

tomorrow or saturday may be the day for the eggs in the 'bator. we finally had to take Turkey Hen #1 off her nest. we are letting Turkey Hen #2 sit for another day or so. IF our eggs in the bator hatch we'll sneakily put them under her.... shhhhh........

we candled the eggs in the bator again and they are solid except for the air bubble (???not sure what you call it). and we cranked up the humidity. then we took them out of the turner and we have turned them 3 times a day.

Well hope you get a good hatch. I was beginning to get really down on my hatch rates so far but things have perked up the past few days. I just put 4 more Black Spanish eggs in the hatcher so I might end up with more mutts on Saturday and Sunday.

My Black Spanish hen finally sat her nest this evening. She has been laying in a nest out of the pen but in my polebarn. She is sitting on 10 eggs. I have a Bourbon Red on 24 eggs which should hatch either next week or the weekend after and a Royal Palm on 17 eggs which should hatch around the same time.

I just bought a big bag of medicated starter so bring them on girls.
