I don't know Kuntrygirl this looks like a Sesame Street show with one doesn't look like the others Unless its the Sun that makes one appears to be white or yellow colored  :lau

Yes, it's a poult. For the last 2 years, I have been hatching a couple light colored poults and that one is the light one of the group. Go figure.

4 bourbon red poults that were hatched today. The turkey eggs were under a muscovy duck and black copper maran chicken.

I was going to ask the same thing, awesome poults, does the light colored one always turn out to be either tom or hen?

I'm feeling so bad over the 2 poults I lost. I don't think I had to, thinking I should have done a couple of things differently. I'll know better next time. Here's a few pic's of the ones that I do have. I had just moved them in a bigger pen. One of the few times they huddled right down and were quiet. They are from a Bronze/Royal Palm tom and a Royal Palm hen.

Hawks

Has any one else had a increase of Hawks in your area so far this Spring on warmer days I have had the house open and hear and see 3 to 4 hawks in the trees surrounding my property close by and hear them all the time from inside the house.
In the past I would see or hear one every once in a while but dang you would think there was a Buffet set up

The Hawks I have seen are small and I don't think they would attempt to get full grown chicken not to mention a turkey.
I just hope they get tired of hanging around and move on.

I feel for you Its bad enough to buy Poults and loose them but to spend time and effort and a lot of hoping and have them die on you is even worse.
I have just put 48 eggs Turkeys and Ducks in a new Incubator so its all new to me I have Incubated chicken eggs not a big deal when you get the hang of it but this is a bit of a new experience to me.

Best of luck you can only do your best and its also trial and error and learn from our mistakes.
The pictures of the Poults are grate.
