Turkeys raised with chicks? Advice needed please!

I have been offered 2 day old turkeys but I have chicks in the brooder. I have heard that we can't keep the turkey and chicks near each other. Is this true? If so then how far apart must they be kept and for how long? Thanks so much!!!

i have mine all together, and they are just fine, i even have some grown turkeys in with my white rocks, becouse their pen is the biggest, but i keep them all on the same place. had no problems .

Thanks Nava! That helps alot. I am going to get them, I've wanted turkeys for a while and I think 2 is a good number to start with.
