I have a problem. I have two toms with apparent bumblefoot. This is my first time actually dealing with it. I've read about it and watched videos of the procedure.....all on chickens. We're talking two 30 pound toms here. I'm not sure where to begin. On the bright side, they are showing no signs of discomfort, no reluctance to stand and walk, and no limping. They both are displaying and gobbling as beautiful as ever. It looks to be in their toes, they're swollen and you can see the infamous scab. I've never done the procedure myself. It doesn't look too terribly hard, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't a bit nervous. I supposed there are no alternatives to surgery? Experienced advice/tips would be greatly appreciated!
