Hello I just got 2 royal plam turkeys. They are 9 weeks . My question is how long do I need to keep them in there coop before letting them free range and when do I introduce them to my chicken flock that free ranges. Also any advice would be helpful.

Welcome to BYC! I am not familiar with turkeys, but I do know they can pick up certain "things" from chickens, I'd wait on putting them together. You may want to read more about turkeys here:

This video should help you learn your way around the site, enjoy!

Thank you for your quick and usefull response. Are there any other turkey resources to look for on this site I've found it to be very helpful in my journey first time posting because there was so much info i never had to ask it was already somewhere on here i just haven't had any luck with turkey info but i may not be looking very well either

Have you tried search(box) for "Turkey thread." Turkeys can get "Black Head" disease from chickens but, I don't believe it is very likely.

Yes got it thank u found just as much on Turkey as i did when i was looking for chicken info all of you guys are awesome thanks

You'll want to come hang out here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/a-century-of-turkey-talk-2000-2100.966414/page-1555 Short answer, keep them in the brooder for 3 weeks, then keep them in a close shelter for 5 weeks. Turkeys find all kinds of creative ways to commit suicide until they're 8 weeks old. After that, they're pretty much indestructible.

Can someone tell me if I have a tom and a hen? I know the larger one is a tom but I'm not sure on the smaller one.
