A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

My son helped me figure it out. Apparently I have to click on "full image", and only then will my phone give me the copy and save options. I guess I was trying in the wrong place. Thanks Aurora!
Cuz I wanted to save this photo that my daughter posted:

Jen, You'll love this.... Ever since the coyote attack the boys are no longer feeling confined to the fence. They won't go into the shelter with the girls--but they seem to stand vigil... Every morning they check every shelter in the lower pasture then go back up to their pasture and of course they're all inside the fence when the girls get released.:clap

This would be the drake boys, yes?

Ugg! There is a blues song with a phrase that perfectly summarizes our weather: "Hot, Hot as a Coffee Pot". Needless to say , it's nasty humid. Yard birds all panting, hanging in the shade, cooling off in their little pond or sitting under the fans. Daisy is a huge fan hog. Plops down right in front and will even rest her beak on the grill. Fans are up full blast pushing quite a bit of air...she just closes her eyes & stuffs her beak in the grill & will just stay that way. Well, what ever works...I guess.

Days like today the kids really like the extra pasture. They're laying around each of the shade trees kind of dug into the grass.

Chick is still not looking better. Got thin cardboard on her feet to straighten them out. Seems to help her stand. But has no strength to walk. Drinking and eating some. Not as much as I would like to see. Biggest concern is the opening her mouth at every breath. Poo is normal also. The turkey poult is walking better. Not as stiff but still has slightly abnormal walk. Eating and drinking great. Acting normal. So think it's recovering fine. Not so much with the chick though. Losing hope quickly. But it still seems like it is wanting to move around just too weak. Gonna go get some salmon and that nutra stuff
