Turning eggs

I believe turning angle is in reference to using an upright turner, or incubating in egg cartons. FWIW, I have heard that you should not always turn eggs in the same direction. ie: turn clock wise, then counter clockwise the next time. This is to prevent stress on the chalazae. I wonder if this is one of those "they said" old wive's tales???

I numbered mine, just to keep perspective. I candled them last night and they all showed signs of life! Today is day 9 I think. So far so good

I start all eggs the same day so no need for numbered eggs..

Yeah I set mine all at the same time. I just wanted a reference so I would be sure they all got turned every time. So I gave them numbers.

That makes me feel better! I'm pretty sure the auto-turner in mine kept them going the same direction every time. I could be wrong tho. I don't have the best memory and my last hatch was way back in January. Hahahaha!

The whole numbering thing is cuz I'm ocd and I number things, lol. Ducklings are adorable! Good luck with your babies too!
