I have roughly a 4x7 wood dog kennel that is 4 feet high in my garage built by previous owner that my dogs hate so my thought is make it a chicken coop!
It has a mud flap where I could put a drop door with rope to exit to my fenced in back yard already for free ranging.alll i would have to do is take wood top off and make it taller for me get into.with 2x4s and chicken wire.
my concerns are sanitation cleaning it would be easy with only 4 hens but is it safe to breath in the air all the time?
i have pics on my phone trying to figure out how to get them on here.
any problems anyone could think of with this set up?
