This is Carmel now. I posted the first pic back in Sept. everyone said she was a Buff. Ummm she’s red with a black tail 🤷🏼‍♀️ We should have named her Cinnamon instead of Carmel 😂😂
Any Cochin people?! Is this a normal or rare color??

I don't think she's a pure cochins either

This is a fair point... she's got very lightly feathered feet compared to even the Cochins I got from feedstores, she's a little tall and has a sort of "flat butt" if you don't mind my crude terminology haha, but lacking the big round shape in the tail... Interesting bird nonetheless
 
More pics. The Partridge color one is Nestle. I bought them both at Wilco from the "assorted cochins" bin. I got them on Sept 1-ish so they are around 18-20 weeks still tiny waddles and combs? These pics were 2 weeks ago but there is really no differances now.

If she’s from a hatchery, she’s a red cochin.
