turtle egg care ?

For turtles, they need to be buried. They cant be to close to water in the wild or they will drown. They need to be buried and kept warm. Depending on the size of the turtle the nests can be up to one or two feet deep. Small turtles dont need that deep of nests..But thats all I know for sure.

bad news,
a turtle guy told me that them being dumped by the dump truck most certainly killed them even though the shells were not broken. he also told me they were snapping turtle eggs . he said if by a miracle some hatch that he would take and release them for me.

Just be aware that turtle eggs need specific needs like chicken eggs. You should definitely research hatching snapping turtle eggs and find out what humidity they need, temperature and substrate. Its always worth it to try, even when it seems impossible.
