Who likes turtle soup? Got a big pot on the stove right now...yum yum If you do like turtle , do you have any good recipes?

My sons put out a trap every summer and catch turtle they have caught (2) 35 lb snapping turtles and their friends father cleaned it all up battered it and they have a big deep fry, two types of meat like chicken dark and light and guess what it tastes like chicken not fishy at all. Never had turtle soup though

Cajun turtle stew was good but I would never eat the meat..just the stew part. It was good but as I got older I didn't like it anymore.

Pretty sure there is turtle soup being made somewhere around here....someone brought boxes and bags of big snapping turtles to the auction on Wednesday. They all sold quick for quite a bit of money!

I have never had it and I am almost positive that its one of the things I will go to my grave never trying. Most people that have had it, insist its really good. Ugh, I just can't even think about eating it lol.

Never had the soup , but but fried in real lard yuuuuuummmmm
