Didn’t breed them. Just got eggs and were told they were tuxedo bobwhite.

This is Snookums. Do you need a male and female tuxedo to hatch out tuxedo chicks? Do you know? Some ppl say you need a brown male and white female? I'm curious

My quail are bobwhites and yours is a coturnix so I’m not sure if the genetics are the same. The parents of my tuxedos were both tuxedo though. Tuxedo x Tuxedo occasionally produces pure white birds too!
