Twilight vs Harry Potter

True, but the girls reading it also have to realize that it's mostly just one girl. There are other girls in the story who are more confident than Bella. Even the non-vampire ones, like Angela!

But I do see where you're coming from.

Harry Potter appeals to a much larger audience. Twilight is mostly limited to women in about the 12-35 age range.

In all honesty, I'd just skip the 5th one. That one was the one that lost my interest about half way through, and I wound up skipping a few pages inbetween....

LOL. I did the same thing! I can read a book in a week, I could not get into the 5th one at all. I have the 6th and the 7th and I am hoping they are not near as boring as the 5th. I loved 1-4 and it took me a year to read the 5th.

I havent read the twilight ones yet...but I love Harry POtter and it would take a LOT to sway my loyalty...of course the Chronicles of Narnia will always be my all time favorite since I first read that series at age 6.

I LOVE HARRY POTTER! and I LOVE TWILIGHT! Stephanie came up with the idea for Twilight in a dream and decided to write it down. I love both because they are make believe and great ideas and very creative I thought. I dislike all these new vampire books that are coming out to copy Twilight. I agree Harry Potter is wrote better and is great to read FANTISTIC actually, but Twilight has its ups too. The Twilight movie though sucked and the Harry Potter movies are always great and Im always wanting more. Eragon was also well written and wasn't the boy like 12 13 its amazing for a kid that young to of written a book that frigggen' HUGE!

I agree on the Twilight movie though I don't think it sucked. It was decent but A LOT more could have been done with the special effects and such. I mean come on, the way Edward ran up the tree? You could tell they had strings/ropes attached to him
