Twin Chicks Double yolk

I've been following this all along. I sure hope everything works out. I am a newbie chicken keeper and hope to incubate my first set this coming spring. Taking lots of notes so I can go back and review it all again closer to my time.

I got pulled into your thread because I never considered hatching a double yolk and want to see how it works out for you.
It seems that you have attracted the interest of a lot of experienced chicken handlers that don't post often...

No pressure though? I hope for everyones sake one of these doubles makes it. If not I will put 2 more in. We get at least 2 a week. I'll keep trying as long as I can. Bear with me as the 6 that are due to hatch in about 6 days will be my first ever hatch.

I missed it, how old is the hen/pullet that lays double yolks?
