Going to continue following this post. Twins are miracles in chicks! Would love to provide any advice I may have when hatching time rolls around, I have assisted even the most hopeless cases and had them survive!

Can't wait to see how this works. My hen lays double yolkers every few weeks. I got one the other day. Problem is I have the bator, I just don't have a rooster lol.

Incubator is ready! I will be breaking the bad news to Beatrix soon. Any advice on how to break her broodiness after so long?

Breaking broody hens is a pain... You have to stick them in a pen with a bare, or wire floor so they cant attempt to make a nest again. Keep them in the "broody breaker" with food and water for a few days until they stop making the broody cluck.
