Twin Chicks Double yolk

I love this Little guys markings. Especially his white dimples. I know they won't last but he's still cute. He's a gift to my niece so she can start raising her chicks.

Mom is a RiR and Dad is a black Cochin. Any idea what this little one will look like? Both patents were feed store chicks.

Probably black, couple could have the poofy Cochin fluff. Combs could be different as in my experience, Cochins have always had smaller combs. Could be some splashy colors.

From what I have expeirenced, when you cross too solid colors the color is one or the other.

The black chicks look exactly line he did as a chick. The yellow looks like the RiR but it has spots

Looks like a splash. Probably white with red and black spots/streaking. Should be gorgeous!

Can you get a splash from a Cochin RiR mix? I thought it looked a lot like my silkie splash but didn't think I could get one from the 2

I'm sure roo is a mutt chicken. A mix between a Cochin bantam and something else because he has a single white feather on each foot and small white pin feathers on the base of his tail and he's large for a bantam but not quite the size off a stranded rooster. Could it have come from that? The red is pure. Maybe not top of the line but pure.
