Twin duck egg ready for lockdown

So today around 7 or 8 Pm I checked on my twin Muscovy egg and found two spots that has circular brownish color, like it has a bruise. What does it mean?

A bleed? Or something rotten.
Actually, I've just read another thread and it looks like it could be the duckling trying to pip in that place but has hit a vein, hence the bleed. One of the ducklings won't be able to pip into the air sac for obvious reasons.

You may need to start to do an assisted hatch now. There is a sticky thread on this. Be very careful and accept that most twins do not make it.

What day is it on?

So my twin egg has externally pipped on the fat side. And I tapped on the egg near the bruised area (pointy end) and heard little taps inside, but no external pip yet. Should I help with the twin duckling hatching
