She had been around chicks and ducklings hatching and no issues. Quail I think is just the right size she wants to play with I guess. She knows the bigger stuff brings out the heat lamp she lovesProbably they were making noises and she was curious. Some cats go nuts for scratching noises- their instincts tell them to chase after scratching because it sounds like rodents. The peeping gets their attention, too.
I see the air sac which means that they are still alive
I'm keeping it in there just cause the way they were sitting last time was hard to see them to... I'll check in a few days for growth againI see the air sac which means that they are still alive![]()
How does the air sac mean they are alive? Just being curious never heard of that beforeI see the air sac which means that they are still alive![]()
Could have quit developing. No movement is not too concerning, have had plenty of embryos taking a 'nap' while candling.... but vein depletion probably means death. I always give it a few more days to be sure before discarding. Tho doubles rarely fully develop, I don't know why folks keep trying to hatch them.I'm not seeing any veins any more where as the others I do and no movement...
It doesn't. The air cell will remain even if the embryo dies. How does the air sac mean they are alive?
