Twin ducklings in 1 Egg - What should I expect?

Don't mean to hijack the thread but now I'm curious: in cases like this is it possible for each duck to have a different father? I know they can hold onto stuff for a few weeks.

Hm. I'd imagine it's definitely possible. It's rare for both to actually make it out alive, so it'd be hard to know for sure though. An interesting subject.

I guess a clue if they both make it would be if they look super different.

Yeah, but in this case the only two ducks that are the same breed are a male and female
