Twin ducklings

So today all ducks are doing well and the eggs are happy wrigglers although they are getting harder to candle especially the twin. A couple of the ducklings seem to be preparing to make their debut as they have their heads near the air sac! We have 4 eggs in one nest and 2 in the 2nd nest. So all going well here 6 days to go and 12 for the 2nd ones

Please note that you will need to assist the hatch if these are twins, they will not be able to hatch in their own. @MGG may have some suggestions for you, but this is also a good article to read. Article 'Guide to Assisted Hatching for All Poultry'

@specTONKular , have you confirmed that they're twins? Almost every case of twins I hear of is when they baby is spread out in an unnatural looking way around day 10.
It's perfectly normal, and is mistaken for twins all the time.
How is he/they doing?

I couldn't get a decent picture from the video I had my daughter take but it seemed to have 2 black eye spots at either end (pointed and round) I originally thought it was just a huge yolk when I candled it when I first put the eggs in.
In all honesty I would rather it was just 1 because at least there is a higher chance of survival.
When I ordered eggs online I had no success I believe it was partly the eggs and the awful incubator I was using. However this time I got the eggs from my call duck (who only started laying on my bday, 20/02/22 ) I also have a much better set up thermometer, incubator with automatic Turner ect...
I also have a bit more knowledge and lovely people here to help me with my issues.
I guess only time will tell but the egg is bigger than her usual ones and weighs more than the other eggs I put in at the same time.... its just a shame I couldn't get the video on here but cest la vie

I looked at the pics, it honestly just looks like one to me. Of course it's possible there could be two, but I doubt it. If it dies before hatching be sure to eggtopsy it, so we can see if it was or not!

Agreed. Its very important we confirm so you know if you need to assist or not. Of course, a single duckling would probably start making progress on its own, and you would know. But if it takes a bit longer you don't want to be in a situation where your not sure whether or not you should assist. Then you might assist to early, or not assist, and either way depending on the situation could be detrimental.
