Twin Pictures (Micky)

It's true, most of the time a double yolker is much larger than a regular egg. But sometimes you can't tell, they just look like regular eggs. When birds are starting out laying all sorts of weird and wonderful shapes and sizes materialise. That's just the way it is. I'm sure if Tracy had known they were double yolkers then she wouldn't have set them but we are here now and all we can do is hope for the best and wish her well.

Thanks highlander, i feel like just closing this thread as theres so many people think i set these eggs knowing they were double yolkers! These eggs are pullet eggs and 2 of them are NOT double yolkers but still have twins. I never play god with any life!! I started this thread with excitement but now i hate going on wondering what people are saying! I would never never call anyone here a lier! I will PM the people who have been Back Yard Friend from the start of this thread..

Ah who cares? There will always be naysayers. I for one think it is interesting and at least they have a chance to make it so really what's to lose. They either don't get incubated or get incubated and have a shot, especially if you will be helping them. JMO

Don't let people who speak negatively of your situation get ya down. You cant control how the egg develops, either they hatch or they don't, I dont see the harm in letting nature takes its course and seeing what happens. You have my positive thoughts being sent your way. I just hatched 4 babies from my hen and the neighbors roo, wow what a rewarding feeling :) Keep doing what your doing and soon you will have your little Fluffy Butts bouncing around just being silly babies.
Good luck!!

Thank you sqwarkbox and delilah. Ive just showed my husband my thread and he says im getting upset over people i dont even know. He knows how much i love this site and have learnt so much so im not going to let negative people upset me. I do hope these babies hatch and if they dont i know i did all i could. Now on a happy note my sisters baby has just come out of surgery after having a heart operation she is 2 weeks old and all is well.:D x

There due next saturday. There is a couple with only 1 baby in each so hopefully these hatch first and spur the twins on.

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Don't dare cancel this thread....I've sat here and read the whole thing. Can't wait to see what happens. If all survive, GREAT!!! If some survive, GREAT. If none survive, I will be sad for you. I have only hatched once and know that would be upsetting. Having said that, you are giving it 110% and can't do more than that. As far as "knowing" they were double yolk and hatching them anyway (which I don't believe that is the case)...SO WHAT!!!!. Honestly, I think if I KNEW an egg was double and was getting ready to incubate other eggs, sure, I'd throw it in there to see what happens. What are your other options? eating it? throwing it away? You're not hurting ANYBODY, giving these babies a good solid chance, so just shake your head and feel bad for negative people. From what I have read, most people are rooting you on and anxiously waiting. GOOD, GOOD LUCK!!!!!!. Can't wait for pictures!!!
