Hey guys, is there anyone out there that can help me hatch these twins successfully. This is my third hatching, but the other two were when I was little, now I'm hatching for my kids!! I desperately want to be able to deliver these two chicks properly. I'm on day 12 so I'm trying to learn anything and everything before its too late. Any advice would be appreciated there is not just one but two sets of confirmed twins. I tried to google and search but there was not much info on them.
Please HELP!:D

Hi & Welcome, did you see this post?
https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/will-a-double-yolk-egg-hatch-two-chicks.624163/

from what I read, it can happen...its rare...sometimes they need help....frequently one will out grow the other, causing one to die, or to have deformities.

Oh go to you tube and search there too.

To help you prep, I would research how to "help a chick" who cant get out of its shell. There are many threads here on BYC. The chick usually pips, and then "cuts" around the shell, as it "pivots" inside the shell...its really tight of just "one of them", but two would make it almost impossible.

Cant wait to see how it goes! keep us informed, we are inquiring minds you know :)

Wow thats crazy, two sets of twins! I'm going with Cookiejen, no advice, but looking forward to updates! I would go on you tube though as MommaHen2Many said. Hope all four hatch out fine.

My goodness!!! Im sooooo anxious about this hatch. Lockdown is the worst part of hatching!! I have everything ready for my chicks, my incubator is also quite loud so im afraid i wont be able to hear them chirping in the egg. I so badly just want to hear them then i know where abouts im up to in the cycle. Im so obsessed right now my husband thinks im going nutz lol
