Two 9 week old Orpington

Hello everyone,
We have been raising some baby chicks for 9 weeks. We were told they are both pullets but I see that one has a redder comb and wattle. The other one has a little pink comb and wattle. My dad thinks that the one with the redder wattle and comb is a male. What do you guys think? Thanks in advances!!

I think they are both pullets. I feel like their combs would be bigger by nine weeks if they were cockerels.

#1 is male.
#2 is female.

#1 doesn't have much combing, but I have zero doubt he is male.

The lighting is a bit different, can you get them in the same shot? The first one does look a bit more developed than my BO did at that age but still quite small. I’d not give up hope yet though. Wait a few weeks.
