Two Broodys On Same Nest

I have two broodys on the same nest.
There are 4 eggs.
The eggs are not theirs.
The eggs are due to hatch Monday.
One broody is a Japanese bantam.
The other is half D’ Uccle/half LF.
Neither one has ever brooded a clutch before or raised chicks before.
They’re both just under a year old.

My question is:
Will they fight over the chicks?
Should I separate each broody with 2 eggs each?

I have 2 broodies that hatched out 5 chicks together (1 died) they both take care of the chicks together and get along just fine.

All four eggs have hatched!

One chick is under my D’Uccle mix, Bootsie.

Three chicks are under my Japanese, Itsy.

Here’s hoping that things continue to go well and these girls share parenting duties or at least tolerate the presence of each other and the chicks.

I went to check on everyone and decided to take the nest box out because it’s small and I’m afraid the broodys will step on them or smother them.
My Japanese bantam is doing something weird.
She pushes herself under the other broody, as if she thinks she’s a chick or something.
I put the chicks under both of them since the chicks are still unsteady and don’t seem to know they’re supposed to be under there.

My broodies did the same thing. Don't know why. It seems to work fine for my girls.

Im surprised that works..The one going under the other Hen is trying to cover all Chicks. No trying to be a baby..

My two Serama girls co-brooded, hatched, and are still co-parenting the 6 chicks who will be 6 weeks Sunday. They both take care of all of the chicks.

@fisherlady has a super broody flock. Her girls routinely co-brood and seem to prefer things that way. I had 3 turkey hens that worked together to raise 2 poults. They did great together!
