I have a LED Maglight on those plastic clamps on the wall under the back porch lightswitch. It's the best way I know of to ALWAYS find your flashlights in the dark. I have one in the bedrooms by their lightswitches too.
These:
Shoes are optional, and the guns are handy so I'm set.
Now, me finding clothes......that's another story entirely!!!!

The mag lights are great except my grandson from age 5 (he's now 12) loves to "use" them when he's here and never replaces them so we buy another. Must be we've got a dozen around here someplace.

Mount the clamps higher, lol and by 12 years old I would have him replace them himself either with allowance or working the bill off. At that age I remember getting lectured on putting my grandpa's hammer back where it belonged so he could find it after I left his house. Teach some responsibility.
DH woke up before dawn this morning and while he was puttering around in the kitchen he heard some sort of ruckus up by the animals.
He went to the mudroom window to get a better look and low and behold there was a coon trying to get to the ducks....gave up...THEN climbed up onto the quail cage.
Shoes....flashlight...and the .22 were right there waiting for him.
Me? I slept right through the shot and didn't wake up til he came upstairs saying "Coffee's ready....guess what"
