Two chickens missing

We've been searching high and low for them. I dont live with my dad during the week, but he's been looking for them as well. Today marks the day they've been missing for a week. I'm just really scared they're not okay
A week is quite a stretch . . . they usually can't go more than a few days without water and food. I'm so sorry about your girls :(

That's weird all 3 went missing so close together! We have two barn cats, and they are off wandering more often than not. They will be gone for 1 day to a week at a time. They always come back just fine though, and we have every predator you could think of. I recently had a hen go missing for several weeks under my shed, and she reappeared with 5 chicks! I did however see her throughout the incubation period. She would come out to eat/drink every 2-3 days. Not all brooding chickens do this though. I have heard of 2 chickens brooding at the same time. Good luck! So sorry! :hugs

Found one of them! She came running into the backyard while I was giving them treats and ran away when I tried to go after her. I dont know where she went, but I think she has a clutch with the second chicken

Are the chickens that are missing hens? If they are and they are of laying age, they might be trying to hide so they can set.
They're both around a year old, one (the gamefowl) was a rescue from a cockfight and she was used as a breeding hen, even though she was only three months. The other we got from IFA, (barred rock). I'm just happy I saw her running across the field, I was beginning to lose hopr

Well, she ma y come back home with the chicks soon if they survive. Put some food and water out for them nearby.
Okay, I will! Itll probably look weird since they're in the bushes near a fast food restaurant (it's right next to our house). As soon as I see those eggs hatch and the mommas come back, we'll put them into a pen by themselves to raise the chicks a bit more safely
