Two chicks feathers look strange

I think I have two bantams with the same problem you are describing. The feathers on their lower back are scraggly looking like they haven't grown in yet or are being picked on I'm not sure.

I have a question. I have three easter eggers (4 weeks) and I always hear that people say they can lay any color. My question is, is it different every time they lay or is the surprise in the first time they lay to see what color they wil be laying. I feel like this is such a stupid question, but there it is.

Its not a stupid question. :) They only lay one color. You don't know what that color will be until you get your first egg, but it will always be that same color. :)

Thank you! As I was writing the question the answer seemed obvious but I had been wondering so I posted anyway. Thank you! I can't wait to see! I'm afraid one or two might be roosters

Here is another picture. Not sure if this is normal? I have two like this and the others are fine. Maybe nothing to worry about? Thanks for input!
