39 hours apart in age and male chick attacks female chick. Tries to peck neck and underside. We separated them. Tried to reintroduce with same thing. New to this. First two we hatched. Younger chick is now growing larger. So we looked at output so to speak. Younger chick eats and poops and sleeps sprawled out looking dead. Older chick does not eat much and does not output much at all but pecks at everything. Stays awake long times. So we mixed our homemade hummingbird liquid with the Encore Chick Start and added a little scrambled egg. Chick ate it off finger but not out of feeder bowl. Poo’d a thick dark green mess, but still not a lot. Could his stomach be making him peck. I say he, because I watched a video on vent and his neck is very long. The other one we didn’t check, but personality is just the opposite and neck is much shorter. Do I try something else? And what are these anyway? Eggs were given to us to eat. Boy is mostly black, girl? Brownish.
