Two chicks with my keets (should I move them?)

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question.
Please let me know if I should be on another thread.

We have 14, 7 week old pullets out in the chicken house. They are all very docile, we spent a lot of time with them. They like our company.

Now we have 8, 1 week old keets and 2, 1 week old EE chicks (all came together). We have been handling all of them several times each day.
BUT, the guineas, we call the Wild Children, they kick and scream every time we pick them up.
The EE chicks are somewhat more mellow, but not much.

THE QUESTION: I want to house the EE's and the keets eventually in the chicken house, but should I move the chicks sooner than later?????
I can believe the keets can be trained to come back to the coop at night but I really would like the chicks to be as calm/tame as the other
14 in the chicken house.

I keep all mine together. It doesn't make the chickens more wild, but it can help the guineas calm down a little. They will probably never be lap tame like the chickens, but mine will come and eat out of my hand, and come when I call them. They know their names and roost with the chickens, also.

I am actually brooding 3 different batches of guineas and chickens born a week apart and they are all together right now. The guineas depend on the chickens to help find food, and are turning out to be really tame.

Guineas are not as domesticated as chickens. They are wild birds in Africa. Unlike your chickens, they could literally get up and fly away if they wanted to! With that said, if you work with them it is possible to have them get in your lap but mine never really liked to be petted. I have personally seen one really tame guinea. It was at a hotel near Palanque, Mexico. It would come lay at your feet to be petted. Anyway, I'd spend most my time taming with the chicks and just let the keets learn to be near you. You might get lucky and have a really tame guinea, but its rare.

thanks for the input. I'll keep trying on the guiineas, they do calm down a bit holding them but still come kicking and screaming!

just worried that those two little chicks might think they should act like the keets. glad that they won't.
