Okay, so the white chick is getting a tons more brown and the little black spot is getting bigger, but still only on the one side. The two chicks are almost the same size now. Here are some pictures I took today. They both have blue eyes. Brown one has feathered feet.
So, are the guesses still the same? Red cochin, red sex links, or New Hampshire red? I wish I could figure these out. I hope the are not mixes. Could I tell if any are a rooster? Thanks!
Okay, but there has not been any other input regarding their breed or gender (donrae did assist in a something I was wondering) except you.
Thank you very much!
Oh, I hope it is not a rooster. That is my daughters favorite. It is so calm. She will hold her hand out palm up and that chicken will lay belly side up, head dangling like it is dead and sleep. Oh gosh, I appreciate your comment greatly, but I hope you are not accurate.
Thanks for responding.
White amber stars are always male. The females are brown. However your white chick has a different pattern of red coming through. Do you have any more recent pictures of both chicks?
