Two claws on one foot?

A rudimentary accessory or double nail of the little toe is not rare and is caused by the nail of the little toe is abnormally wide and is split or shows a longitudinal depression corresponding to a slight protuberance of the cuticle............... I think.:caf
Thank you! That’s exactly the info I was looking for! I breed rodents and know a bit about their genes and a stuff that can happen to them while developing, whenever I stumble upon odd things like this I like to learn what caused them to happen if I can, i cant believe I grabbed the one with the extra claw either haha there were at least half a dozen just like him, we actually got two but the other one passed away ): I didn’t even notice the extra claw until two days ago, they’re like 4 weeks and I’ve had them since day 3!

Yes, it's a silver spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben.....very cool about the claw.
