I have two sets of girls. I have the older gals who are laying and the younger gals are almost 9 weeks. Can they all be fed layer crumble or do I still need to do grower crumble and layer crumble?

I asked the same thing a while back and the answer was no. Layer feed can hurt the younger chickens. I feed all mine grower/finisher feed and keep crushed oyster shell available for the layers.

Darklingstorm is correct. I would recommend feeding them all a Developer feed and supplkying egg shells or oyster shell in a seperate container. That's what I do when I have young and old together and the young ones stay away from the egg shells, they naturally seem to know when they need extra calcium and when they do not - plus the older ones do nto allow them to eat the egg shell if they get near it.
