Two different eye colors...

I have seen this before. Not a malformed pupil or eye disorder. And definitely not a chimera. It happens with the fibromelanism, what makes the Cemani black. I can't recall what it is exactly.

Genetically, if the Cemani was the father she would have dark brown eyes. Her brothers would have bay. If the mother is the Cemani she would have bay eyes. Her brothers would too.

I guess I'll just have to start my research on this, then! :)
 
Thanks for posting this! I also crossed a Cemani and Leghorn, and had two babies born over two separate clutches. Both had heterochromia!

Sorry for reviving a zombie thread, but wanted to include some photos and see how your chickens aged. As mine are getting older they are expressing more and more dark feathers!
