two geese wont go home

Yeah a response a lecture...
well anyway we drove up to see the owner... she only had cracked corn out for them.. They were down at her pond the... Parents of Honk Honk on the far side.....She said they only spent the nite in the brothers metal cage to get them used to being there.. They looked quite content.
I just wish she had a secure place for night time for them... we only stayed a few minutes....
we brought back some of her cracked corn to feed him and I added some pf my dry split peas...
Now Hubby will help me get out our big cage and try to slowly lure him into it...and hopefully gethim down to where he belongs...
That would be awesome if you can get him home. It would be nice if she had a secure building for them. But if you can at least get him home then you'll have this off of you. Worrying about him getting run over and killed.

Sorry if you felt I was lecturing you.

He iss still here>>>> got him in back yard near house. he is crazy about Hubby...
Hubby put togher a shelter for him, but he wont go in there but to eat he outside right now laying in the gravel. it supp to be like 24 or less tonight, Now how can we persuade him to at least sleep in the shelter. we bought him a new heated water bowl. he wouldnt enter that big dog carrier so we moved it away....Lady down the road gave us the hay I have more to put there if he uses it.
ANY SUGGESTIONS YALL Thanks even have a heated outdoor pet pad for him thanks
Here is the setup

I would think it's quite similar to getting chickens to see a new coop as home. Pen him in for a few days. Once he's in the habit of sleeping in there, turn him loose.
How in the heck are WE going to pen him ? if we could have did that we would have taken him home.... or givenhim to a good home with a pond etc
Hubby just made him a ramp to go into that black "sled" or plastic concrete mixer pan...
I tried a while back to lure into that big dog carrier of ours.. he wouldnt do it
he is a lonely little man without Sissy Girl ( I called her)
MISS LYDIA or other Geese masters suggestions anyone have a big net gun like i have seen on a filme while back?

@ladyearth Looking at top pic on the left side finish that up so it goes as far as on the right. then make a door opening in the front. keep it open till he goes in to eat once inside close the gate, door etc. Now he has his own safe night time enclousure once he gets use to being in there in the evening go out and put some corn inside towards the back so he has to walk all the way in eat it then close the gate or door so he has to sleep inside at night. He's a beautiful goose so glad he likes Hubby. I am sure he is feeling much more secure being with you than across the street alone.
